- Youngest graduate of the Vaganova Course at the National Ballet of Korea (2001-2002)
- Graduated with a scholarship from the Ballet Instructor Program at the Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory in Russia (2003-2008)
- Graduated from the Department of Choreography at the Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory in Russia (2007-2008)
- Completed the Directing Program at the Berkeley Digital Film Institute in the U.S. (2011)
- Ph.D. in Dance from Hanyang University (2012-2015)
